Highlights

Issue 8/2 of Asian Business & Management is a special issue dedicated to ‘Globalization and CSR in Asia’, which has been Guest Edited by Colin Higgins of Victoria University, Australia, and Philippe Debroux of Soka University, Japan.

The papers in this issue provide timely insights into how CSR is influencing business practice in Asia. As in the West, the context is multi-faceted and multi-layered. The papers demonstrate that not only are there macro and social influences on the activities of business organizations, but that companies themselves must consider carefully the implications of transplanted CSR initiatives on their prevailing organizational cultures.
